With a Masters degree in Public History and years of experience in oral history, I founded Enduring Legacies to pursue my passion of preserving people's stories. There is a beauty in everyday life that has always spoken to me. I have worked with universities, cities, and museums to document personal and corporate history. I have worked in archives and museums preserving documents and artifacts for future generations. My own graduate research maintained a focus on the personal stories of everyday men and women. My work has been featured in corporate histories, university publications, as well as presented at the American Folklife Association's annual conference.

My passion for history began long before my career, however. As a child I loved to hear my grandmother tell stories about growing up in Depression-era Appalachia. Through our time looking at her pictures, and reminiscing through her garden I learned about the legacy my family left me. As I grew older I took this interest with me, and pursued my studies in history with zeal. I have been married to a US Army soldier since 2004, and feel an even stronger tie to our nation's history.
I look forward to having the opportunity to help your family preserve their memories for future generations.
